Quality and innovation for 100 years

Curt-Ebert Siebtechnik

The tradition of screen manufacturing by the founder Curt Ebert dates back to 100 years ago in Dortmund. In 1920, the then 29-year-old founder Curt Ebert started working and initially established a trade in industrial screens for construction and coal mining. In-house production started a few years later.

In the course of its hundred-year history, the company from the Ruhr region has developed into an internationally recognized specialist for screening technology. Quality, service and an innovative spirit have guaranteed success for over 100 years and are deeply embedded in the company's DNA. At Curt Ebert, for example, the Varia Harp was developed, a screen whose openings always remain free due to the different vibration widths of the wires.

Locally rooted, but at home in the world
Curt Ebert Siebtechnik has been producing in Dortmund since the company was founded. In 2008, however, there was a move. In the course of the integration into the Dorstener Drahtwerke Group, the screening technology division left the Westfälische Straße in Brackel and found its new home in a former go-kart track in Dortmund-Körne. Mutual impulses from the internationally operating Dorstener Drahtwerke support today's technical product developments and delivery standards and make Curt Ebert Siebtechnik a global player in the screening industry.

Customer proximity and fast service
Also in the future, close cooperation with customers and screening machine manufacturers will be an important cornerstone for the successful development of the company. The company's service portfolio includes harp screens, oblong wire mesh, round wire mesh, support nets as well as meshes specially tailored to customer requirements. The strength of the company lies in particular in its good and fast delivery service, which ensures a reliable supply of the non-metallic minerals industry.
