Foundation
Curt Ebert begins manufacturing screens.

More than a century of screening technology, driven by the ambition to develop the better solution for every task.
Screen manufacturing at Curt Ebert began in 1920. Since relocating to Dortmund in 1940, CES has developed into an experienced supplier to the screening industry.
Craftsmanship, technical exchange with users and fast, reliable service remain the foundation of our work today.
Inventiveness also has a long tradition: among other things, the VARIA harp screen was co-developed at Curt Ebert – a screen deck whose openings stay clear thanks to the different vibration amplitudes of its wires.
